This is an exhibition that will stay with you.
Repair, recycle, reuse is the central theme of this new show with heart-touching artworks on display including Aya Haidars' Soleless series displaying embroidered images of migrants’ journeys on the soles of their worn out shoes. The detail is incredible. One shows migrants fleeing in a life-raft whilst another tells the story of a pregnant woman who gave birth minutes after she passed through a fence to safety.
With darning, sewing and repair workshops run by TOAST renewal and a real-life Beasley Brothers Repair Shop (created by artist Carl Clerkin) we can ALL learn how to fix more and bin less!
Small but perfectly formed this show packs a mighty punch.
