Neon lights and swirling technicolour illuminations are adorning the iconic façade of @tate britain this festive season brightening our darkest winter night. Mythology, Bollywood, feminism and family memories all bound up in one great big joyous Diwali celebration created by Chila Burman.
Inspired by the artist’s childhood visits to the Blackpool illuminations and her family’s ice-cream van, Burman has covered the façade with vinyl, bling and neon. Plan a drive by, a walk by or a cycle by but don't miss this joyous installation. It's a true sight for sore eyes.
Blenheim Palace
The glistening light trail returns to the childhood home of Winston Churchill once again this winter. Book a tour of this historic Palace before strolling after dark along this twinkling trail.
What's not to love about a huge illuminated advent calendar? Take a family stroll along Piccadilly and listen to the chiming Christmas bells at twilight. A little bit of festive cheer for all ages. New Bond Street is looking very bling too.
